Shi'ite Iraqi Terrorist Group Issues Video of Kidnapped U.S. Officer, Claims to Be Holding Another American Hostage
The liberal website Elaph reports that the Shi'ite Iraqi terrorist organization Asaib Ahl Al-Haqq has released a two-minute video confirming its claim that it has kidnapped a high-ranking U.S. officer. The group recently threatened to resume its armed operations unless its commanders and fighters incarcerated in American and Iraqi prisons are released.
According to Elaph, the Americans have neither confirmed nor denied the kidnapping of the officer.
